I’m Thibault Gernaat.

I was born and raised in Belgium, but I’ve studied and worked in Belgium, France, Switzerland, the United States and Canada.

I like playing with technology and enjoy culture. This is when I’m not busy raising my son and my daughter with my husband.

I’m now living in Germany, working as a Principal Software Engineer for a Mittlestand company.

I can speak French, English and German. Unfortunately, my Dutch and Spanish are a little rusty from my school years.

I like to write blogs and talk about technology, YouTube, movies and politics. But, some other random shit might come up…

This blog is mostly about myself yelling at the cloud. There is an RSS feed, mostly followed by friends and colleagues.

This is why there is no cookie banner, no analytics, no comment section. Just consume it, this is the Web 1.0. But at least, this website adapts to the dark/light color scheme of your OS, as opposed to most modern websites.

When I have time, I usually hang out at tech meet ups in Cologne, feel free to come talk to me.
